Practicum Counsellor - Master's practicum student (fees cannot be claimed through benefits)

$35/hr (50 minute session, 10 minutes provider case management).
$7 per 10-minute incremental billing.

Practicum counsellors are completing their Masters practicums onsite at Restored Wellness, and practice under supervision of Katherine Mooney and other secondary supervisors on site.


PN7, PN8, PC/Arb

All court-involved services must begin with a conference call between Katherine Mooney and counsel.
Fees for Practice Notes and Parenting Coordination with Arbitration are $300/hr.

The fee for Counsellors is $90/hr.

Kiersten (she/her) is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan. After two decades of experience as a geologist and leader in the Energy Industry, her gender transition in 2017 enhanced her empathy for others and ignited a drive to be part of providing inclusive and culturally sensitive support. Ultimately, this journey inspired her to pursue psychology and develop a new skill set to pay forward the support she received in her journey.

Kiersten approaches counselling with an anti-oppressive lens and strives to amplify and celebrate the intersectionality of every person’s individual experience. She believes we all have authentic strengths and, therefore, approaches therapy as a collaboration, positioning herself as an affirming, safe, and consistent partner who is motivated to help you recognize and reinforce your strengths. Melody is a registered social worker and holds a Masters of Social Work degree. Melody uses a client-centered approach where she believes in working together as a team to achieving your goals.
